Loved the Scudo I had at work, might be bigger than you are after though? Do Connects have 3 seats? Don't think a Berlingo does.

I think the Scudo (and variants) are the smallest vans you get with 3 seats. Very practical sized vans.

The Berlingo comes with three seats but not as standard (I think). You might struggle to get someone in the middle seat though - a very small child maybe...

Not exactly a van, but how about a Multipla?

3 full sized seats across the front. Take out the rears and you have a small cave.

Only new shape berlingos come with 3 seats, nothing else that size has 3 in the front. (and it's more like 2.5)

My car-version berlingo (new style) will take 3 people and 3 bikes (all wheels on) with the single rear seat left in.

I am airing on the side of the Fiat Scudo with well thought out cabinets/lockers in the back

Remember that lower speed limits apply for some of these vans/van derived cars.

My experience of older Scudos is dont touch them with a shitty stick especially the older non HDi type engines. The body roll is scary bad even unloaded and the door locks and handles are made of crumbly Wenslydale cheese but cost their weight in gold to replace. To be honest I cant think of a single redeaming feature. As for the three seats its fine if all three of you are 7stone anorexics.
If you are going to go down the van front go for anything else (I believe that Vauxhall Combos can be problematic too).
