I’m in the market for some new brakes for my Cube stereo 29er. Looking for powerful stoppers under the 200 quid mark including hardwear and rotors. Been looking at Shimano XT or Formula T1 25th anniversary. Any suggestions welcome. Cheers.

Cheers, never really thought of them. I was mainly looking at SLX or XT.

I just bought, XT with 203/180 ice tech rotors plus adaptors for under £200 to replace my old Hope M4’s that have finally got to that stage where they needed replacing.

A great combination of SLX and Saint, as friendly as Deore and as powerful as a stick through the spokes
