Finally decided that If I'm going to spend lots of money on something big wheeled and one gear I might as well go for a long term investment:

choices so far:
Salsa selma
Lynskey Pro 29 SL
singular pegasus

Have discounted the TD1 as I'm too much of a girl for stiff forks in the peak district

who's ridden what and any other idea's for things to look at. If anyone has any second hand Ti bling they want to sell let me know as well 😀

Grace is selling a medium Ridgeline SL in the classifieds.

EDIT there was a medium On One as well. Not that I'm stalking for one 😉

My On-one 29er has been spot on. The dropouts, with one chain-tug, work great. Geo seems to work - the only change I would make would perhaps be slightly shorter chainstays. As Andy said above there was a medium on here the other day.

Have you see DrJon's Vertigo? (hope it's ok to use pic?)
[img] [/img] For a trail/am ride it looks good.

I'd have to sell my bottom on a lot of street corners to afford one of those as well 😀

If you sold your bottom what would connect your legs to your torso?

I'd connect my nipple piercings to my metal work "downunder" and have a novelty set of braces.

On the plus side I could do away with a saddle and thus continue my weight weenie obsessions
😉

Yo Taz, sounds like a plan coming together.
They all sound good to me, purely aesthetic grounds obviously.

Picto - you know me, plans will surely go off on an tangent as soon as something shiny is waved in front of my eyes and someone starts quoting weights of components. At that point I'll have all the focus and attention of a kitten in a wool shop

It's not a competition Stu, I think of it like a fine partnership of wrongness that produces entertaining results, much like absinthe and redbull 😛
