Just ordered a (yellow - will i regret it...) large mega frame. Need to decide on the (hope) headset.
At the moment the shop is going to fit a headset with internal cups top and bottom. I note from most other pictures I can find people have gone internal on top and extenral on the bottom.
I'm worried two internal cups will not be sufficiently slack - I'm aiming for 66 degrees which is what my Nomad and Nickel currently are. Fitting 160mm Lyrik u-turns...
What have others done?
With Hope external bottom cup fitted to my Mega and 160mm Lyriks my head angle is between 65.5 - 66 degrees using an app on my phone (prob not the most accurate). My wifes Mega with same setup measures exactly the same.
nukeproof external bottom here and 1.5 lyriks.
defo need external for slackness.
