Probably not the shorty – the Butcher would be fine. Not used a Cannibal but given that should be the stickiest T9 compound I’d use that I think.
None of the reds are muddy / slippery at all – it’s mostly rock / hardpack.
Some of the blacks (muddy berms) may get a bit muddy but even though it was raining whilst there, grip wasn’t an issue due to mud.
I think slab track and other tracks with sheer slabs are the biggest grip challenge and not much sticks to those. I was on a Wild Enduro front (magi x) / Kryptotal Fr on the rear (DH/ Supersoft). I think most stuff will grip though – just it’s hard on tyres.
I had an enduro casing Conti Xynotal on the back the day before the bike park in the Forest round the Climach X with off piste sections thrown in – completely killed the side wall of the Conti sadly (it was only a few rides old). Slashed it on a sharp rock as I landed from a bit I decided to send to avoid a load of rocks.
