    Thanks for all the suggestions everyone. Think I’ll try the self-amalgamating tape for starters then ride the cr@p out of the bike to wear the mech out and get a clutch mech to replace it 😀

    Prize for the best idea goes to yunki, though – really did laugh at that one!
