  • What 150mm big hit fork…
  • 😳 sorry, I don’t know how it ended up here….

… As in a 150mm fork that will easily take the hits and work wonders on very rough, rocky downhill type terrain. I have no brand alliance so all options considered.

Nixon Platinum, lots of travel, not ridiculously heavy.
Here’s mine, on the front of my hooligan Inbred:

I believe that fox 36s and 34s, lyriks, marzocchi 55s, and x fusion slants and vengences all have a version that can be adjusted internally to 150mm. I’m not sure about the new pikes. For some lighter options there’s a whole bunch of forks; fox 32s, revelations, sektors, marzocchi 44s.

It’s up to you whether you want a slimmer and lighter 150mm chassis, or a lowered burly 160/170mm travel fork.

Sektors on mine. I rate them but have never owned any fox forks

The Marzocchi 55’s are an amazing fork for what you’re asking for.

Every 150mm fork apart from the Fox 32s are fine for what you describe, and even the 32s will be just about OK… just a question of how you want the fork to feel.
