A mate is currently suffering due to the torrential rain over in Spain and it looks like he’s lost pretty much everything; cars, furniture, clothes, food, appliances, all underwater. Trying to put together a care package to send over but want to make sure it’s got the right stuff in it. I think (I hope) the local authorities will sort out immediate emergency stuff like fresh water and blankets, etc. and between me, my family and a few friends in our village we’re sorting out clothing for them. For those who’ve been unfortunate to have their house flooded, what was it you really wish you had once the water had subsided? New bedding? Food? Generator? Dehumidifiers? Cleaning stuff?

If you haven’t seen it’s been pretty catastrophic and I don’t know how quickly the Spanish shops will be able to re-stock on things. We’re planning on just sending from the UK/ordering on Amazon.
