The article originally said that trump had said that he wasn’t a Christian

A lot of people heard that and especially in the context (he’s talking to christians as if they’re a separate group from him “I love you christians”) I can see why but really he just made a sort of weird noise, I’m pretty sure he was trying to say “I’m a christian” and went “I love you christians mmlllaaaamna christian”

Currently feeling quite smug about my £20 bet on Kamala…. I’m set to get a return of £55.

The odds are shortening quite fast (if that’s the correct term? I don’t really know anything about betting).

I should have stuck a couple of hundred on at the time, in retrospect, but I’m quite risk adverse….I’ll settle for £35 profit.

Harris likely to reveal running mate on Thursday.

If chosen well this could really throw Trump’s campaign into further trouble.

    Tim Walz selected

MSNBC are claiming Trumps team have already attacked with this

“From proposing his own carbon-free agenda, to suggesting stricter emission standards for gas-powered cars, and embracing policies to allow convicted felons to vote, Walz is obsessed with spreading California’s dangerously liberal agenda.”

    Umm…

    About the Felons bit?

Walz is an incredibly rare combination of all American kindly uncle with pretty rock solid progressive credentials, he’s disarmingly retlatable but absolubtley not afraid to go for the GOP’s throat, he’s fantastic in interviews.

He has an old DUI conviction but it was ages ago and in the Mid-west that’s almost seen as a positive.

Right now he’s almost too perfect which is making me worried that there’s some massive skeleton in his closet that we have yet to learn about.

Betting odds are now pretty much 50/50 so hopefully that will only improve as the campaign starts properly…

If you want to see how misinformation gets spread then Joe Rogan, chief bro science informer to the easily moulded idiots that hang on his every word would be a good place to start, the most popular podcaster with tens of millions listening to every dumb **** thing he says.

    Thankfully only a 2min listen,

Joe Rogan on Tim Walz somehow worse than I expected.

I don’t pay much attention to Rogan.  But I hadn’t realised what a complete republican shill he is.  Putting forward ridiculous ideas and then saying he doesn’t know if they are true, when a minute’s googling would get the answer.  He knows exactly what he is doing.

Musk’s pro-trump super PAC has been up to no good***. They have a website encouraging people to register to vote – complete with a link to follow to fill out your voter registration.

If you click on the link – you’re invited to fill out all your personal data, in order, as it says to register to vote, you submit, and it says thank you.

So you’re registered to vote right?

Well you’re certainly allowed to think you’ve registered to vote, but whether or not you actually have depends on your zip code.

I don’t pay much attention to Rogan.

If you’ve got a Spotify subscription you’re paying his wages – handsomely. To put it in proportion – Spotify pay Rogan almost  as much for three to four  2hr podcasts a week as the BBC spends on Radios 1,2,3,4,5 and 6 combined.

I’ve got a mate who thinks he becomes an expert in something because he listens to a 2hr rogan podcast about it…..

Deeply frustrating because it’s horseshit (or in this case horse tranquiliser).

I’ve listened to a few and even the ones I think are on interesting topics are pretty dull & shallow , I genuinely don’t see the appeal, but not surprising he’s a trump fan (tho his conspiracy theory leanings make him a good match for RFK Jr)

I do hope theres nothing incriminating. It’s pretty poetic, given Hillary’s emails back in ’16…

Trump campaign says its internal messages hacked by Iran.

Yep, there’s always one… I don’t speak to the one in my friendship circle any more, for very similar reasons.

Trump campaign says its internal messages hacked by Iran.

Politico said that in late July it began receiving emails from a person who identified themselves only as “Robert” using an AOL email account.

    An AOL email account …lol!

Fantastic design fail on Trump supporters cards. I was taught early on, that in order to make text stand out you use black or another very dark colour, with bold type. This is a classic facepalm moment. For a bit more context, the cards are double-sided…

Theres another fail involved, Celine Dion had this to say about the music choice.

Today, Celine Dion’s management team and her record label, Sony Music Entertainment Canada Inc., became aware of the unauthorized usage of the video, recording, musical performance, and likeness of Celine Dion singing “My Heart Will Go On” at a Donald Trump / JD Vance campaign rally in Montana. In no way is this use authorized, and Celine Dion does not endorse this or any similar use. …And really, THAT song?

    The song being from Titanic

It’s a reliable indicator of privilege, affording internet access and a computer at that time required a certain level of wealth. The fact the address hasn’t changed shows that the individual doesn’t spend money on replacing things that work well enough for them.
