Finally got the bargain CRC buzzbike ebike thing finished and got out on it. Not bad for me, whats that 4 months to fit a fork?
(well fork, lower headset that needed shimmed by 1mm, different brake(shim’ M520) a 20d hope stem)
Completely different to the full fat, and I’ll have to watch out because the ‘one size fits all’ kind of leaves people my height(6’3″) feeling like your weight is high and over the front end, so I’ll really need to watch out when braking on an incline, or potholes or its over the front we go…
.
The 2 speed thing is a bit weird, but not too difficult to ride, especially after the 12 speed im used to, but if any concern it has to be the bars. Used to riding 800mm and popped on a 680mm for this one, and all was fine til i took one hand off to scratch me nose and wobble city ensued and i near ended up on my arse.
It is I think a 360wh battery(or might be 320) and only really did a short potter so dont know the extent of the range or how it will cope on hills.
Front end looks a bit cobbled together with its purple stem and gold spacers, but overall i think im pretty satisfied on how its turned out, and it will do well for a commuter shopping bike, leaving the full suss Emtb to play on.
