I’m changing jobs soon and need a car to fill a few months while I work out how many miles I’m doing in the new job, and if it’s worth going into the company car scheme at this point. The stop gap car will be doing fairly long runs (55 miles to the office) plus will need to fill in for bike and child lugging duties.
I fancy a Saab. Don’t know why but figured this is a good time to scratch the itch.
Two locally have caught my eye.

This I have been to see. Great condition, drives really nicely. But a cat C, they claim not to know what happened to it. No service history. Can get it for £1900.
Or this:

Haven’t been to see it yet. Assume I could get a bit off that price. 2 years older. Fsh etc.
So – worth taking a risk on what could be a highly dodgy motor??
