Anybody claimed for minor bodywork repair for a Tusker all-in lease deal?  How did it shape up? Mrs StingMeRed decided that our Ioniq5 O/S rear quarter needed decorating with some carpark wall so now has a scrape down the side. Luckily, it’s only the plastic trim on the wheel arch (both rear quarter and door mould) and hasn’t touched the metal work. Downside is the two parts needed are north of £500 new.

Just wondering whether to claim via tusker (which seems obvious given the lease is fully inclusive of insurance) or whether to source the parts second hand and get them touched up if needed.

For comparison, I’ve just had to get a new tyre on the same car for a slow puncture. It was about as painless as I could expect and Kwik-Fit (who I’m normally wary of) were great in trying to fix first, then replace – same day job.

No, but I’m interested to see how it goes as our car is my wife’s through work on a Tusker lease.

We did have a blow out due to a pothole and that was no issue at all to get resolved quickly. Usual stupid no spare in a modern car situation, and still haven’t decided whether to buy our own spare for a car that’s not ours.

First service was a bit of a PITA with Kwik fit as Tusker said it was needed at 10k and Kwik fit when she took it there said it wasn’t needed until 17-20k (can’t remember exactly) and weren’t going to do it , and had to get tjen told to do it anyway as its not up to them. Also didn’t get the courtesy car as she should have.

Haven’t made a claim, however in my dealings with them around the lease and tyres I have found that calling them is much more productive than emailing…
