Going to Tropea in Calabria, Italy for a week on Saturday and wonder if anyone has been and got any tips?
I thought about hiring a road bike for a day but not really sure now, the only local hire place is what looks like a 25min train journey away and whilst they appear to have a KTM road bike to hire they don’t seem to even ask for a required size when you book online, which makes me a little concerned🤔
My wife isn’t into cycling so weighing up if the hassle/admin/packing some cycling gear will be worth it or not for half a days’ cycling. Could always take my running trainers but it does like there’s some nice hills to explore by bike though I’ve no idea what the traffic is like round there.
Curious to know if anybody has done the same if not, and/or any tips about nice places to eat or drink just as welcome!
