I’ve got a 2016 Transition Suppressor. It is designed for 26 in wheels, but plenty of Transition owners have run 27.5 in that frame, as the clearance is so good. I’ve decided to take the plunge, but as ever am on a budget.
So I’ve bought a new Fox 36 (think taken from a Santa Cruz ebike, but understand from limited research it is fine to run an ebike specific fork on a regular frame) and my intention now is to get some 27.5 wheels.
My requirements are quite specific, so off the shelf wheels sets seem to be out. I need the following:
27.5
110 boost front
12×142 rear, with XD driver
6 bolt
I’ve looked online, on ebay and the other option is to buy 1 1/2 wheelsets, or try and get two wheels. I saw a nice set of crank bros Cobalt on ebay, but rear has got a dent in the rim.
I found these wheels online that have DT Swiss 270 Hubs, Sun Ringle rims and are build by Fit Wheels.
