Is there a relatively straightforward way of adapting a gas stove like this vango one
    Vango Stove

to make it work effectively with a Trangia cooker?

I have the Trangia cooker and want to convert it to gas but the Trangia kits are around £45 and I thought it could be fun (and potentially dangerous and cheaper) to contrapt something.

Any advice or experiences would be greatfully received.

Go systems do a slightly cheaper one than trangia:

I got one from Field and Trek for £20 – works really well.

Your second best bet would be to buy a cheap stove and rob the parts from that. Your best bet would be to just use the cheap one. If you’re not goign to use the meth burner then what’re you left with? A pan set. Which will work with any stove.
