Who does it belong to?
A little pruning here and there will probably go unnoticed, start building gap jumps and people will likely start to moan.
Should major tree surgery be required, it’s the perfect time to do it what with all these high winds, but do it properly and tidy up afterwards… If you must add obstacles to the route, take a separate line off the main route to add the obstacle.
If you can sort existing trail issues such as erosion, puddles and restrictions properly, you’ll probably find people will actually thank you for your efforts.
Although after the recent winds, it took me around two and a half hours to tidy up all the windfall on a mile stretch of local singletrack!
