If you ever wonder what goes into trail building, well, it’s mainly a load of graft.
I’ve just been back through a load of files I had from Oct 2010 through to March 2011. In 6 months we surfaced 1.4km of trail, which is something like 140 tonnes of material shifted, all of it shovelled by hand. I’ve compiled it into a video.

We’ll have our new loop open by the start of April. It’s just under 1 km with two new bridges, a few rock features and 60m of raised woodwork in the middle.
