You know the ones I mean.. Knog Frog or the Leyzene ones.. Anyone managed to fit them to a thin tube like a rack by doubling up the rubber band bit? I saw one on a parked up bike like this but I didn’t know what brand.

    Any recommendations?

You could try using a cork, split down the length as a sort of ‘shim’. Maybe a few turns of electrical tape to secure it better.

I find a few wraps of old inner tube make useful shims for light brackets mounts etc. not as good or as tidy as the above cork idea but seems to work.

yeah just pass it under the light and round again, i’ve done this on the thin crossbar of my BMX handlebars.

Knog Frog with an extra loop before attaching (as per plyphon) worked fine for me.

I’ve got a Lezyne Zecto Rear:

Not sure you’d get the rubber band to holid it onto a thin rack but it does have a sort of belt-clip style rear as well which might work?

Good light by the way. Nice and bright.

Plyphon was that the Knog Frog that works that way?

I fancy the Lezyne Femto Drive one, looks like it may work with the double up approach.

I looked at the Femto but it isn’t rechargable (uses watch batteries) the Zecto recharges on USB.

Yeah I do want something rechargeable.. the Hecto looks ace. Don’t fancy the rear one on a rack though.

Zecto might be it though – thread closed, if it fits onto a rack. Will have to pop into a shop.

You can get the band on the Lifeline[/url] ones pretty tight.
