I work in a quarry, on the weighbridge. A lot of our customers have already finished for Christmas at the end of last week, and the weather is against the others, so it's very, very dead in here now. God I'm BORED!

So bored in fact, I've ended up doing filing, cleaning and empying bins for something to do! I'll be done by midday and I've got 2 more days to fill…..! Any ideas?

We had a lovely old iron weighbridge smashed after some numpty dropped a high sided skip onto it from about 2 metres. I was in the factory at the time, about 1/4 mile away & still heard the bang it made.

How about a shopping trip on CRC, see how high a total you can get your basket to before it crashes… 🙂

It's a 50 tonne bridge. The calibration unit (Big truck, lots of weights and a forklift) is just under that all-up. Biggest loads are 44 tonne on artics. 🙂

Use a proxy server to get round blocked sites. Never done it myself and probably wouldn't , just read that you cab do that sort of thing nowadays. I am a computer idiot nowadays so I couldn't work it out.

easiest way of doign this is leave pc at home on and then use logmein from work to access home pc. no funny proxy stuff then.
