It was the weekend IMBA UK was established. Mr Bluementhal, Joey Klien, Russel Burton, Karl Bartlett(who subsequently became Mr7Stanes) were all there + a few more well known(now)trail builders 😆
There was a Scottish road trip on the US web site for a while till it was revamped.

I met Joey when he came up to Roych clough to look at the planned Pennine Bridleway – i think he might have been at the IMBA weekender I attended, as was karl, pete laing and a few others. might have been there 🙂 Will check dates when I get home

at at the station hotel last night, food was really nice. just checking the ohter suggestyions now
