    Just got back from a 2nd slog round Swinley – I really wouldn’t bother going over there until it’s dried out a bit. Only the trails from the top of the Wall were dryish – Labyrinthe etc. The rest are a mess. I walked over to see if anyone had been riding Stickler – unbelievably there were tyre tracks cut into the fresh trail surface. Moronic.

    Yes I agree, but half term and too much COD Blk Ops meant I had to get them out into the air 🙂

    The problem is Swinley and rain = grinding paste, you can feel the bike wearing out. Has to be done though.

    I think the Crown Estate specifically DON’T want trailmarking / maps. Something to do with Nature England / Birds / SSSI’s – I’m not sure exactly on the thinking mind you but if that’s the fact then whether Gorrick agree or not, they’re the rules.
