There is a cracking holiday camp about 10 k away .Its a german centerparcs style thing but more basic ,houses and chalets, i agree about driving to SPA same weekend very much worth the journey.

For alot less risk or expense you could do a Uk track day .
Buy a 330ci manual and a couple of sets of very worn ( 2mm – 3mm ) tyres. Then go to Brands or Donnington and spend hours and hours hooning round , till the brakes fade and the tyres fall apart .

Used to do a few and loved it , maybe not the ‘ring experience but sounds like that will end in tears

On exclusion /insurance are you sure?

My insurer said they can preclude or cancel insurance when I called them to clarify. They said it was in the T&C’s.

(I was in Koln seeing friends over NY and could find alternative cover).

Its changed ownership this week so worth relooking at the track T&Cs too?

    £1000 for a 3 tier 3m section of Armco?

If only! It’s €1000 per 1 metre sold. You need 9 metres for one section + track closure fee.
