After the glorious summer we had there were no excuses for not getting out into the wilds, with such continuous dry stable conditions it was a no brainer to hit the high mountains, a couple stood out for me with a foray into Ben Macdui, via Carn a Mhaim, a new Munro for me, with the classic long descent into Glen Derry on a day it hit the thirties, a trip into Ben Avon and Beinn a’ bhuird further fed the rat, with my final descent of the day being of an unknown quantity and finding a most serendipitous stalkers path to finish off such a great adventure, i love the Gorms!.
It would be great to hear what you got up to this summer.
