So mrs deadly and I are visiting Ma deadly in Limerick this weekend. We decided to go and see Munster play the Cardiff Blues as I’ve not been to the new Thomond Park. Tickets were available at the ground but for cash only as we found out to our dismay, having only our debit cards with us.
We asked a friendly looking chap if he knew where the nearest cash machine was as we wanted tickets. He took a bunch of corporate hospitality tickets out of his pocket and said “Here, some business colleagues can’t make it because of the roads, you might as well have some.” Great seats. On the halfway line.
Made it easier to stomach the €5 a pint for Guiness anyway. Top bloke.
