It was only 24°yesterday in Harris and no melting tar just great weather with comfortable heat with fantastic tarmac to cycle on around the coast. Just the one cafe Skoon but the food is great and the coffee good. The beaches are amazing but the water invigorating

As if I wasn’t missing living up there enough while I watch my garden in Kent slowly wither…

Really could do with a nice loop round Harris on the bike sometime soon.

When we toured up the islands last year the golden road was the best bit of the whole trip.

Back there last month for the LAMM with an overnight at Crabhadail beach… stunningly good.

Not the Golden Road, but a one. Pikes Peak just came up and seemed relevant:

No, the Golden Road is along the east coast of Harris from Leverburgh to just short of Tarbert.

Golden Road is great, we did it in similar weather the other year. Start at Tarbert, brew at Skoon, lunch in Leverburgh. Awesome
