    Haha, could be worth trying!

    The Outwell carpet is not available anywhere…unsure why an old thread has been resurrected but gives me a chance to reply to a question I’d missed.

    picnic rugs are definitely the way to go; cheap as chips, can be used outside in fine weather, easily packed away, washable etc

    definitely put them in the bedspaces too – the more insulation between the bed and the earth the better

    We just lob some house rugs down. Got some from Trago Mills with Indian designs on. Also rag blue/green rag-rugs. Done. They get dried, thwacked and rolled up in the shed until next time. The thinner one goes in the washer and lives back in the kitchen most of the year.
