Had my Tallboy for 4 months and I think i’ve got the set-up completely dialled in now. This bike just feels ‘right’ and totally dispels any myths about 29ers being slow to accelerate, manoeuvre through tight stuff, manual, jump etc. I’ve ridden alot of good bikes over the years but this one takes it to another level.

Just wondering what set-up others use?

    I’m running:

120mm Rebas – set up firm/xc as I don’t like them to dive. Fox RP23 Kashima – set at 25% sag with Propedal off (used the Propedal for the first couple of months but the VPP suspension seems much better without it). 70mm stem, 700mm bars (any wider and you struggle to maintain flow between the trees on our local trails). Hope Hoops with Crest rims – these have been absolutely fault free. Maxxis Beaver exception tyres – great in the woods in the summer mud, but also surprisingly good on recent dry and dusty trails. Ardents for weekend in Wales etc.
