Looks like Mrs Scotroutes and I will be off to Spain for a week in April. I’m getting every second day to myself to go biking so considering either hiring out there or taking one of my own – probably the El Mariachi. £30 each way doesn’t seem too bad (though weight limit is 20Kg). Any experiences I should know about before risking it?

30 quid sounds good. I’m not sure it makes any difference which airline you use as the baggage throwers are the same for everyone. (I think).
