    What should i use to attach light pvc tiles, the interlocking kind to the lightweight foam core tile backboard (not cement board). It’s a Wet room.

    I’m assuming I can’t use a bag of bal fibreflex type tile adhesive.

    What does the manufacturer recommend? Have you got a link to the tiles? I’d assume some sort of grab adhesive, but need more info.

    It will be adhesive or silicone sealant type stuff. As above, look at what the manufacturer recommends. You want to get the right combination of hold and grab so you can slide them together easily to interlock them.

    I’ve done a couple of showers with the lightweight panels, silicone sealant worked well.

    I haven’t fully decided on tiles yet but probably these ones

    https://www.panelcompany.co.uk/collections/white-wall-panels/products/abstract-white-8mm

    And these or similar backing board (10 or 12mm)
    https://www.thewetroomstore.co.uk/thermopanel-tile-backer-boards-1250-x-600mm/

    the recommendation seems to be a “pinkgrip” if surfaces are porous and an “everflex 450” for non porous.
    https://www.panelcompany.co.uk/collections/adhesive-and-sealant/products/solvent-free-pink-grip-adhesive-c3-size

    https://www.panelcompany.co.uk/products/silicone-450-builders-white-c3-size?_pos=6&_sid=f5c30e291&_ss=r

    I assume therefore they are suggesting the 450, since the tile and board are non porous, but the 450 is very expensive compared to the pink grip so I wondered what the options might be.

    Soudal Fix All High Tack in white would be my suggestion.
    Up there in terms of grab and as you are sticking 2 flat things together with no real load the adhesive part will cope easily

    Fix all gets a 2nd vote here. We use the crystal grip tubes for a lot of applications and it’s not let us down.

    Just a note on those panels in the 1st link. If they’re the hollow plastic type (like corrugated cardboard) they can dent easily once installed. The ply backed ones are more expensive, but more durable as they’re solid.

    I put a sheet of vinyl in the ensuite last weekend. The shop sold me a can of spray glue which comes out all stringy and makes a thin coat. Dried almost instantly on application so not really repositionable. I’ll look at the name of it when I’m in the shed later.

    Thanks for the tips

    @tom83
    yes they are like cardboard. Presumably the sales blurb will tell me any ones that are ply backed- didn’t even realise they existed.

    @tthew
    . Is that vinyl on the wall or floor? If it’s the wall what did you fit; not seen that and might work for my application as need to cover a large area.
