Anyone know which 31.8mm clamp stem has the lowest stack height ? Current stem is a Thomson with a 40mm stack height, cut my steerer a bit too short for the frame ive just bought and could do with a stem that is about 35mm... anyone know if such a thing exists ?
Thanks
Sunline V1 & Ragley Stubbing usually the answers here.
Or a cheap Crank Bros headset from CRC will help too, at least with the stack issue.
+1 sunline V1
Excellent... thanks for the suggestions
FSA Orbit extreme is 25.5mm. On=one sell them.
EDIT:Doh, thought you were after a headset.
Another low one is the Atherton Pro stem stack height 34mm
Another vote for the Sunline V1 AM Stem. I got one because of it's low stack height of only 34mm.

FSA XC200 stems have quite a low stack height too. Poss around 35mm.
^^^^ Looks like chromed bathroom taps, not a stem!
Ragley stubbing is silly low stack. I had to add 15mm (or maybe 20mm) of spacers after it replaced my Synchros AM.
I have a BNIB Sunline V1 XC1 stem (90mm) that is sat in the garage doing nowt if it's of any interest?
Bought for a project then never used. 35mm stack height as mentioned.

Mr Tall... thanks for the offer but its too long for me, after about 70/60mm really
65mm Sunline V1 AM then.
