@Kayak23

I reckon he has almost recovered. The mental scars will take the longest to heal though! Ha. Ha!

Glad you like the piece.

Cheers

I've more or less forgiven you now, even let you talk me into buying a new bike...

Enjoyed this, Sanny – thanks.

It struck a chord with me as I'll soon be out on the bike again after too many years of being unable to ride. I can't wait. Sadly, I won't have an e-bike to help me up the hills, but I'm hoping my massive grin will be enough to keep me going. 😃 I'm picking the bike up from the shop this week – after following an old recommendation for a bike shop from you on here – thanks for that. 👍

@rona

That is brilliant. Good for you! Rides don’t have to be about epicness and big mountains. There is a real joy from just riding your bike. The follow up piece explores that idea in a bit more detail. I am a big fan of cafe stops and just taking in my surroundings when I am out on my bike. Would be really keen to hear how you get on getting back into biking.

Really delighted you enjoyed the piece.

Cheers

Sanny

Great to hear from you, Sanny. Thanks for the encouragement. I'll look forward to part 2 – that sounds right up my street. I'll post an update once I'm back on the trails. 😃
