    Evening all,

I’ve just swapped out my SRAM DUB BB (68/73mm), for a Nukeproof Horizon (68/73mm). However, once I’ve whacked the spindle all the way through, there seems to be a big gap between the crank and the BB, where you can see a good part of the spindle. Also the waved recesses are not fully engaged with the crank arm, much like this reddit post that doesn’t seem to answer the question:

Do I just need spacers on the non drive side? It’s a Marin Nail Trail 6 2017, btw. With a 73mm BB Shell.

    Any help appreciated!

IIRC you should have a 2.5mm spacer on the drive side for a 73mm shell

I am not sure I fully understand your description of the issue but… did you fit the aluminium spacer between the crankset and the BB?

Apologies, I opened the box and actually read the instructions. There is a 4.5mm spacer that goes on the drive side.

I’ve wasted your time on this one.

I’ll be back though, this rebuild/upgrade has been a total shambles thus far.
