I have a small Enduro which came with a 100mm command post because there is not enough space to fit a 125mm command post in the seat tube.  I would really like more drop, does anyone know if any of the other makes are shorter overall?

How much distance from your seat tube to your saddle rail for normal pedalling, and how much actual insertion depth do you have? Is it to be internally routed or external?

What’s the overall length? I think its 380mm when looking online for the 100mm command post and the 125mm command post is 420mm. So you need a 125mm dropper with an overall length of 380mm or close to.
Stealth Reverbs are 390mm and normal are 380mm so they might do the trick?

Revive has the lowest stack height. I managed to fit a 160 drop where previously I could only fit a 125mm reverb.

Cheers.  The 100mm command post is 210mm from the clamp to the bottom.  I dont think there is much more space in the tube.

Seat tube to saddle rail is 200mm when peddling .  Would prefer internal routing

Revive looks really good.  Jambo if you get a chance are you able to tell me how long the shaft of your 160mm is (im sure its way too big but I'm getting greedy).

According to this you might (just) make it with the Revive - 231 needed (plus room for the cable entry), you have 200ish + 35. Measure it accurately, see what route the cable needs to take and whether it will be obstructed by whatever's in the tube at that point. Obviously if the cable entry is too high then you'll have problems getting it to work, so check that too.

Most posts need more room than this, so it might be your best bet.

You have no chance with the 160, sorry! There's no way you could slam the collar.

I've measured my current post properly. It's 240mm including the cable entry housing.  I can't tell if there is any more space in the frame.  However the revive appears to have a spinning cable entry which should help the routing. I think the 160mm will just about work.  Is it the end of the world if the saddle is a centimetre or two too high fully extended?

Well, it destroyed my Achilles! (Thompson Elite, probs about cm too high)

You can rotate the cable entry point on the Revive. Is your current post fully slammed? Even if so, you'll need to find an extra 2.6 cm of space to the bottom of the housing, plus half the cable end stop will be protruding, plus you'll need an extra cm or so of depth for the beginning of any curve on the cable, unless you can find a sweet spot where it goes straight down.

Not being critical, just curious - what on earth do you do that requires the seat that low?

I only drop mine about 3" at most.

I went for the 160mm revive.   If anyone is interested in the difference in the closed lengths of a 100mm command post and a 160mm revive.  See below .

Molgrips.  Want to buy a 100mm command post?

Hah 🙂

I was just scrolling to the bottom of the thread to ask how much you want for it 🙂 I would prefer a short one on the XC bike.

Is it 30.9?
