Does anyone get a slightly annoying issue with these brakes?

If you pump the brake (even whilst stationary), do you get a the bite point moving out from bars?

It feels like the pistons are moving out and not returning quick enough to keep up with the lever. Leave it a couple of seconds and it’s back to “normal”.

Doesn’t effect the power but it’s slightly off putting.

That’s symptoms of air in the system mate.

    Really?

I was quite happy with the bleed.

Do you think the air is at the caliper or lever end?

Yep, and I’m also pretty sure air in the system (I reckon at the lever end) is the reason. I’ll probably be able to tell you later on after I bleed them.

Inconsistent travel in the lever usually is that as the bubble is moving about and allowing movement without pushing the pistons. I dunno which end… never given it that much thought.

I do like that Shimanos can esily be gravity bled to a great extent. Leave the cap off for a few hours with the lever pulled back (cable tie) and gravity will allow the bubbles out.

That is of course unless the bubble is ‘stuck’ which will involve some lifting/moving of the caliper/lever to free it up.

Righto, I’ll give them a bleed later on then!
