Thinking of trading my old 01 SL frame in for a new one with my redundancy $$$, are they any good?

I borrowed a m8's for 2 week (before buying a prophet*) and was impressed with it handling (lot sharper than my Marin 100mm), and it confirmed to me I like single pivot full sussers.. Didn't think it was at all light though (reba's/hope XC wheels/XT & thompson kit).
    Nice bikes IMO

*I wanted the Prophet before trying the SL, but the chance to try, it was too tempting to ignore

changing the bearings on the new frame are much more of a pain, need new tool, than the old frame. But from a quick chat at MM, it looks like the next new frame will have even a new easier way to change them.

We had a stock build one at 27lbs with no pedals. Hardly Superlight for a £2000 100mm travel bike.
