    I have XT 770 rotors – will these work ok with newer XT775 brakes (RT76/79 rotor is the reccomended one)

    thanks for that – they look pretty much the same on the Shimano pdf – maybe just a rebadging or something.

    There is no such thing as a 770 rotor as 770 is the designation for XT V-brakes. However you can use pretty much any Shimano rotor with XT calipers.

    Mister P – yes, my confusion came from the original 'badging' of the rotors when I looked back on my Wiggle account ! They are actually XT770RT78, which Madison say are exactly the same as the 'new' RT79's. cheers. Nothing like keeping it simple for us punters !
