@IvanDobski – yes it is! A great bike for exploring all surfaces. Only changes are a 34t up front (and about to go 38t) and 50c G-One Ultrabites. Sorry you’re missing it!

Good to hear but I was half hoping you hated it and wanted to get rid if I’m being honest!

As I live about 5 minutes ride from the woods, my ‘lockdown’ bikes are somewhat similar to my ‘normal’ bikes (although the Rocket is now decommissioned as of last weekend)…

Although the 50th birthday ‘big bike’ build from February is no longer as urgent as it once was. Might actually get round to fitting some brakes this weekend…

Anyone still loving their gno-car rides?

Eggbike just recently got some bar and tape upgrades and pleased to say still fetching eggs (also fruit and veg) and making me smile/take the long lanes/tracks home often leading to exploratoring and discoverying 🙂

Seems like back to almost normal stupid motor-traffic-levels by now with even so still tend to go riding at weird hours and avoid main roads wherever possible.

Suits me sir. What have you?

I’m still just pottering round the lanes of Kent. Not driven anywhere to ride since the madness commenced.

Enjoying it still tbh and not even considered riding an enduro bike which is up for sale!

It’s funny, further up the thread I said I’d be on the MTB if it weren’t for lockdown, yet now restrictions have eased I still find myself reaching for the Libre when I get a chance to ride. Mostly loops from home, but I have put it in the car to ride somewhere different, so I guess I’m getting there 😀

All my bikes are no-gnar and no-car (can’t remember the last time I drove for a ride) but shortly after the onset of lockdown I built this around a Pinnacle Chromium 2 EBB frameset, and I’ve not ridden anything else since, because it’s ace.

I think I’ve found my niche for now. Second attempt at a singlespeed on-and-off-road bike. The first was a Cross Check in the early/mid 2000s, but 36:16 was tedious on road and still restrictive off (plus I struggled to find brakes that didn’t squeal like pigs). This time round it’s 46:18 with faster-rolling tyres: basically set up for the road and accepting the compromise on the trails. A much better approach. Buying this frame when I already had the geared version but decided not to use a tensioner seemed like a silly indulgence at the time, but at a bargain £175 it was worth every penny. All my rides since lockdown have therefore been on this thing, picking off dashed pink lines on the map which previously have been either too far away to bother with on a mountain bike, or inevitably passed by on a road bike. Some golden finds in there, opening up some nice routes that are to all intents and purposes traffic-free for mile after mile. Glorious.

I dragged my old Inbred from the back of the garage, I’ve been commuting to my home office since the lockdown and anticipate to continue for some time yet.
I have to admit the loop is getting a bit dull to the point where if it’s raining heavily I can’t be arsed to go out.
