  • Servicing for Marzocchi 55's? not TFTuned apparently.

So, where do the Zocchi 55 owners get their servicing done? Specifically 55 RC3 Ti.
TfTuned don’t do them, nor Mojo (from what i can see)

Windwave have had them twice in a row, and twice they’ve come back with problems that they didnt leave with. So, i’d rather not send them back there.

    Other options?

My 44 RC3 Tis were serviced at http://www.fillariosa.fi/ . Handily, I was living nearby at the time. They did a good job. HTH 😉

I service my 55 rc3 ti myself. There is nothing too tricky inside. You will need a bunch of tools, some oil, an Internet walk through a couple of hours. The cost of tools will be lower than one service so much more cost effective, if you plan on keeping them, than sending them off. You will also know how it’s been done 🙂

Surprised with your windwave issues, they’re normally excellent IME.

Have you spoken to them on the phone and asked them to sort them?

Give TFTuned a call, that’s what I did and they told me to send them in.

i actually did call Windwave in the end, and explained the issues. They were very helpful and have offered to have the forks picked up to be looked at again. I was only reluctant, as sending forks, insured, is expensive and i was spending £30 per time to have them sent and not being entirely fixed each time.

Fingers crossed they come back fixed.
Thanks for the suggestions tho’, useful info for next time.

My previous 55’s were so reliable, that i only serviced them once in 4 years, so buying my own tools seemed a little pointless.

If I owned Fox forks, i would of course have to learn how to service them myself. As they would be off my bike more than on, if i was to post them off somewhere.

Windwave have always been very helpful as it goes, just maybe not that thorough recently.

James at J-Tech sorted my old 55 ATA’s (The notoriously badly built ones) even after i snapped a small part.

Fantastic service as always from him
