does anyone know the size please! iv measured with a tape but its not accurate, is it 27 or 27.2 thanks paul

take a good look at you old post, most even cheap one have their size stamped on them. Try cleaning it up & checking round where the minimum insertion marks are. Though off-hand I’d guess it was a 27.2.

It’ll have the same post Halfords use in all their basic bikes so will be stamped on the post, almost certainly, but I’d bet 1 scottish pound it’s a 27.2 anyway. This year’s Vulcan is based on the last model Kraken, just with less butting, which was 27.2.

its been cut down otherwise id keep it, so no marking! ill try a 27.2 cheers guys
