Bit of a dumb question, but for a 27.2 mm seat post, what size seat clamp would I be looking for?

Depends on frame size, not seatpost. Prob 31.8 for an ali frame, 28.6 for steel, but not a hard and fast measurement.

Ah ok, its for a 16" blue pig frame, steel.

Don't do what I did and guess it. I've got a 28.6 salsa in black and a 31.8 hope in red going spare now
I'm hoping it's third time lucky with a 30.0....

Blue Pig is 29.8mm/30.0mm - either will work
