I had my first proper road ride in years (due to injury) on Friday, I headed out of town and had a few cars for company, it was only once they had left that I realized how bad my lights were. I’d only ever used them in town for commuting etc and they seemed great, but with clouds and no street light I couldn’t see the pot holes or where the road stopped and the curb started, truly a scary ride until i was back in town.

Can anyone recommend me some good lights that aren’t going to hurt the pocket too much?

Super bright

Maybe not cheap but I’d say they’re good value with the rechargable batteries
