Cider and cream sounds good – how do you make that?

Pan fry, with finely chopped onions or shallots. When done, remove, deglaze pan with some cider, the stir in some double cream and serve poured over chops. Nice with new potatoes and green beans. Simples.

If you wanted to, some thinly sliced apple as a bit of a garnish would be good too.

Or you could chop some apples and fry for a bit before adding the cider. Or use calvados instead of cider.
