Unit just arrived.
Tried to set up language.
Selected English,double checked..
Hey ho the menu funked out to German,which does not compute for me!
Any satmap buffs know how to reset or get back to Language options?
Otherwise I will lob the dam thing at the nearest satellite.

click through to settings. go to languages. then set to english?
i have mine here if you want more info but in english?

The problem is everything is now in Deutsche which is uber boring.
Would be handy if the unit had a simple Reset option,which according to the website Q&A it doesn't.
I def selected English first time round.

Found main menu,and just worked my down each option plus conferring with with google translate.
What a pain in the bootie.
Anyway,funny how the human race evolved into speaking so many different complex languages.

I just uploaded some routes from my satmap to google earth which has worked out pretty cool. flying through the hills!
Not feeling the Love atm.Poor screen resolution and not the most ergonomic button design.Interface is a bit clunky.
Wonder if i should stick with it ? [did get the free UK 1:50k] or upgrade my ancient 2g iPhone and use gps mapping app wotnot on that.
will you not need a data connection to use your iphone? is the iphone rain proof?
stick with it podium. you can probably change the resolution somewhere.
Out of interest were did you get it from and how did you manage the free maps?
