Got an RS Monarch RT3 (M H3 sticker denoting the tune I believe?) on my Nukeproof Mega. Problem is small bump sensitivity is best at just over 150psi but I bottom it out on jumps and drops…… Upped it to 160psi small bump not so good but slightly more resistance to bottoming out (as expected).

So the questions are:

Why does it turn to “wood” over 160psi?
Is it the right tune for the frame?
Is it functioning correctly?

Done some trawling around and it seems adjusting the IFP chamber pressure makes a huge difference (shock pump adaptor is only £10), getting it tuned/pushed gets a lot of praise too – but costs!

Anyone adjusted the IFP pressure with decent results?
An other ideas?

I have read that it’s a rubbish shock also, but really not the funds to buy another or even get it tuned. I’m 80kg kitted up.

Any ideas appreciated!
