    ….that thinks it’s a bit weird that the total basket price goes up about 10% when you put in a UK address or chose to pay in pounds? Even if you select pay by paypal or cash tranfer (so billed in Euros), it sorts the exchange rate out for you then increases the amount of Euros owed to match the amount you would be charged in pounds otherwise.

    I know they’re cheap but it just seems a bit of a dodgy way to do things?

    is it initially assuming that you’re in the usa or something – so you’d avoid EU taxes and then adding them back when you’re seen to be in the eu ?

    No, tax etc are added from the start.

    I think they’ve just got set prices in pounds for stuff, so when you say your from the UK they make the Euro total match. As I say, they’re still cheap but it’s worth watching, especially if you use PayPal as they ad another wedge with their crap exchange rate (better doing a cc payment in most cases)

    So what I’m hearing is that I could do a roaring trade in being a rose bikes middle man.
