Gave my 2012 SID’s a lower leg service last night but the foam rings were knacked, can’t get any today, what would the hive minds thought on riding 1 race tomorrow without them, wiper seal still in place just no foam ring underneath?

Also, anyone know where to get the foam rings on their own? £25 seems a bit steep for the Wiper, foam and oil seal kit when all I need is the foam.

You will be fine if its one ride downhilers lose the oil ring seal to improve the feel of the fork at the expense of extra servicing.

Perfect. I fully expect to strip down and reservice/fit foam rings next week, just can’t get any today.

Now, about cheaper foam rings anyone?
