I've been seduced by the bargainous prices of the planet X road bike frames. Sure, they're a little older technology but still look like great frames.

Trouble is that they have an Italian threaded BB 😯

not sure if it such a good idea? I've heard issues with them self-loosening etc.

I've had my DeRosa for 7 years now.

Never had an issue with its Italian BB..

Also on a De Rosa with an Italian thread BB. It has only crossed my mind once when I needed replace it. Day to day I don't think about it and it's never given any bother.

Since we're doing pictures-

thanks peeps and both those DeRosa bikes look amazo!

are there any issues with integrated axles? Aren't the BB shells 70mm (not 68/73)?
I wanted to use a FSA gossamer chain set, like Shimano HT2.
