Hope someone out there can answer this.
I have a road bike with Campag Veloce group. Rear wheel has Hope Pro 3 for Campag.
Time to upgrade the lot, so thinking about either Ultegra or Chorus. If I go Ultegra will this give me problems at the back wheel?
There would be a new Ultegra derailleur, but with currrent wheel I would have to run a Campag 11 speed cassette. Is this combination gonna work, or will I need a new rear hub for Shimano?

Shimano won’t work with campag cassette, however rather than replace the hub you could buy a new free hub body for the pro 3 hub which will allow you to use the ultegra group set with your current wheel which IMO is your best option

Thatnks methers27. I didn’t realise you could just swap freehub bodies. Presumably Hope could supply this.

They are about £60. You could sell your old one if needed.

Just looked on Hope website, doesn’t seem to be such a thing as Pro 3?

Campag 11 speed cassette works with a 11 speed shimano groupset, I’m using a campag powertap with my ultegra 11 speed groupset
