I've come to the decision that I want a new bike and I'm leaning towards a full suss, particularly the Specialized FSR XC Comp.

Others in the running were, Trek Fuel EX 5.5, Ghost ASX 4900 and the curve ball hardtail; Orange Crush.

Any other recommendations? And which would be the better choice in your view?

    Cheers Olly!

I've tried the fuel ex, I'm going to try the fsr xc at the weekend.

I will have a look at the trance x as well, the anthem is out of my budget.

Out of the ones you've listed I'd go for the spesh, and the giant is worth a look as well. But I think its a matter of which one feels best when you ride them.

If you are taking the spesh fsr xc comp for a ride, make sure you take a 2mm Hex with you, so you can tune the rear damping. Behind the red rebound aduster lever (the lockout lever) on the rear shock, is a black metal "stop" move this around on the splines, if you find the rear too active.

the comp has the X-fusion RC, the expert has RLA, the triad is on the pro.
