Yeah, and it stays dry for much more of the year compared to the wyre or chase. Although it was a bit messy on Thursday night. You can ride right through the middle of it anytime but it's a pretty small area and hard to avoid the walkers on the cheeky stuff on a weekend - best done on a nightride when there's only bikers around.

Enville is near enough to include in a ride. Pretty too around the Hall/sheepwalks

LOTS of styles been put up on Kinver and the walkers are snooty

Most of the trails are worn out and rutted up there due to the excessive weight of a certain local that goes by the name of singlespeedstu

I've seen that beast around those parts (Kinver), Not "Those Parts". 😯

Anyway, Loads of riding around Kinver it links up to loads of other places easily for a full days ride too.

Don't need to see ruts to follow you blokes - just follow the smell of Enville Ale.

Never had an issue with walkers here, though the "top" of the edge (with the fort and big open area with war memorial) gets very busy during the weekends, and they added a bunch of enclosures, so that cattle can graze up there (adding 'kissing gate' styles).
The lower part (under the edge) is where most of the XC fun is, though as mentioned it ain't that big and it better to include it as part of a bigger loop. Somthing that includes enville/million (though the enville link is particularly evil at the moment) or up towards the sheep walks, or over the stourbridge side of the canal.
T'is good fun when it's drier..

The most obvious run is down the bridal way (much better than it sounds [in the dry]), which shadows kingsford lane down to the "downhill section" from the top corner (near the sandpit car park & NT rock house). Start with that, climb up to the top of the edge, follow that up towards the view point (fort), find the another track back down again and repeat..
